Food delivery platform Swiggy has partnered with hotel loyalty program Marriott Bonvoy to allow users to earn hotel reward points on everyday food, grocery and dining transactions.
Under the partnership, users who link their Swiggy and Marriott Bonvoy accounts can earn 5 Marriott Bonvoy points for every ₹500 spent on eligible orders placed through Swiggy Food Delivery, Instamart and Dineout.
A qualifying transaction refers to purchases of ₹500 or more made through these services after the accounts are linked. The number of points increases as the order value rises. For example, orders worth ₹500 to ₹999 earn 5 points, while larger orders accumulate more points based on the spending tier.
Users can earn up to 1,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per qualifying transaction, with points typically credited to the Marriott Bonvoy account within 72 to 96 hours after the order is completed.
How to Link Swiggy and Marriott Bonvoy Accounts
Users need to link their accounts inside the Swiggy app to start earning points. The process includes the following steps:
Open the Swiggy app and log in.
Tap on the Profile section in the top right corner.
Go to the Partner Rewards section and select the Swiggy–Marriott Bonvoy banner.
Tap on Link Your Account.
Sign in using the Marriott Bonvoy registered email or membership ID and password.
Complete the verification process to link the accounts.
Once linked, eligible transactions will automatically begin earning Marriott Bonvoy points.
Complimentary Swiggy One for Elite Members
As part of the collaboration, Marriott Bonvoy Elite members will receive complimentary access to Swiggy One.
Silver and Gold Elite members will receive three months of Swiggy One membership
Platinum, Titanium and Ambassador Elite members will receive 12 months of membership
Eligible members will receive a Swiggy One activation code by email within 14 working days after successfully linking their accounts.

Higher Reward Rate Compared With IndiGo BluChip
The new rewards integration may also offer better value compared with previous loyalty partnerships on the platform. Swiggy earlier allowed users to earn rewards through IndiGo BluChip, which offered an effective reward rate of about 0.4 percent on spending.
The Marriott Bonvoy partnership offers an estimated reward rate closer to 1 percent, depending on redemption value.
Marriott Bonvoy points are typically valued at around ₹0.50-₹0.80 per point. For users who do not frequently stay at hotels, points can also be converted into other rewards, including transfers to Flipkart SuperCoins, making it easier to turn the rewards into practical value.
