HDFC Adds ALL Accor+ Explorer to SmartBuy Rewards: Get Accor Gold Status From 10,000 Points

HDFC Adds ALL Accor+ Explorer to SmartBuy Rewards: Get Accor Gold Status From 10,000 Points

HDFC Bank has added ALL Accor+ Explorer membership to its SmartBuy Rewards Catalogue, allowing select cardholders to get ALL Accor Gold status and 30 Status Nights using Reward Points.

The redemption was spotted on SmartBuy on 6 October 2026.

HDFC Credit Card

Reward Points Required

Diners Club Black Metal

BizBlack Metal

Regalia Gold

BizPower

For Infinia, DCB/DCB Metal and BizBlack holders, 10,000 Reward Points gets you a year of Explorer membership with 30 Status Nights and the associated hotel and dining benefits.

The big catch: you don't get the two Stay Plus complimentary nights.

What You Get

HDFC describes this as a “specially curated partner membership offering.” Benefits include:

  • 30 Status Nights, enough for ALL Gold status

  • 30% off food at participating restaurants across Asia Pacific and the UAE

  • 15% off drinks

  • Up to 50% off stays

  • 15% off Accor hotels worldwide

  • Member-only offers

The 30 Status Nights are particularly useful because they can also count towards progressing to higher ALL status tiers.

No Stay Plus Nights

The HDFC version does not include the two complimentary Stay Plus nights available with the regular paid ALL Accor+ Explorer membership.

So the value proposition here is primarily Gold status, 30 Status Nights and Accor+ discounts, rather than the Stay Plus nights.

Is 10,000 HDFC Reward Points Worth It?

For Infinia, Diners Club Black and BizBlack Metal holders, this gets interesting.

On Infinia, 10,000 Reward Points can be worth up to ₹10,000 towards flights and hotels through SmartBuy.

At the current 2 HDFC RP = 1 ALL Reward Point transfer ratio, the same 10,000 HDFC points would give you 5,000 ALL points, worth roughly ₹10,000 towards eligible Accor stays.

So you're effectively giving up around ₹10,000 of potential travel value for 30 Status Nights, ALL Gold status and a year of Accor+ benefits.

For regular Accor guests, that's a pretty interesting proposition. But there is an even better use case.

The Accor Platinum Angle

ALL Accor Platinum requires 60 Status Nights in a calendar year.

The HDFC Explorer membership gives you 30 Status Nights, putting you halfway there without completing those nights through hotel stays.

One possible Platinum strategy is:

10,000 HDFC RP → 30 Status Nights through Accor+ Explorer

Around ₹19,000 → another 20 Status Nights through the Accor China route

Remaining 10 Status Nights → eligible fast-track promotion or actual hotel stays

That can potentially get you to the 60 Status Nights required for ALL Platinum without actually staying 60 nights.

Platinum is where the status becomes more interesting, with benefits including Suite Night Upgrades, Executive Lounge access at participating hotels and complimentary breakfast at eligible Asia Pacific hotels.

There are nuances around combining Status Nights and fast-track eligibility, so understand the route before buying memberships purely to chase Platinum.

For a detailed explanation of the Explorer + China + fast-track strategy, check out this detailed thread by Yash on X.

If Platinum is the target, 10,000 HDFC points for the first 30 Status Nights makes this redemption significantly more interesting.

Regalia Gold and BizPower

For Regalia Gold and BizPower, HDFC is asking for 20,000 Reward Points for the same membership.

At twice the points requirement, I'd avoid this redemption unless you have a specific use case for the 30 Status Nights. The sweet spot is clearly the 10,000 RP option on Infinia, Diners Club Black and BizBlack.

How to Redeem

Go to:

SmartBuy → My Rewards → Reward Catalogue → ALL Accor+ Explorer Membership

After redeeming the points, HDFC issues an e-voucher, with the SmartBuy listing currently showing delivery within one day. The voucher is then activated through HDFC's dedicated Accor+ enrolment page.

Important terms:

  • New members only: Existing ALL Accor+ Explorer members cannot re-enrol using the same email address.

  • Eligible HDFC cardholders only

  • Non-transferable

  • One-time use

  • Valid until 17 December 2026, after which unused codes expire.

Bottom Line

At 10,000 RP on Infinia, Diners Club Black/DCB Metal and BizBlack, this is a genuinely interesting redemption.

For a regular Accor guest, you get 30 Status Nights, instant Gold and a year of Accor+ hotel and dining benefits.

For someone chasing ALL Platinum, those 30 Status Nights can potentially take care of half the requirement in one shot.

The compromise is clear: no Stay Plus complimentary nights.

At 20,000 RP on Regalia Gold and BizPower, I'd give it a miss unless you have a specific plan for those Status Nights. At 10,000 RP, particularly if Platinum is the end goal, this could be one of the better HDFC Reward Point redemptions available right now.
