Eternal SBI Credit Card early access is live as of 15 October 2026, with an initial release limited to 5,000 cards. You can register interest now, but invitations to apply will arrive in batches. Joining the queue does not guarantee a card.

The card costs ₹499 + GST and combines instant discounts on Zomato, Blinkit, District and Bistro with statement cashback on selected partners. Eligible Blinkit groceries get a 5% discount, which makes this more useful for everyday shopping than the earlier non-grocery teaser suggested.

## How to request early access

You can request early access on [Eternal’s official card page](https://www.eternal.com/credit-card/). The registration form asks for your name as on Aadhaar and mobile number. Eternal says it will notify you in the app when applications open for you.

The Zomato app route shared in [our early-access discussion on r/CCGeeksIN](https://www.reddit.com/r/CCGeeksIN/comments/1x6hclk/eternal_sbi_credit_card_early_access_is_now_live/) is Profile → Eternal SBI Credit → Request Early Access. If that option has not appeared in your app, use the official web page to register interest.

There is no published closing date on the early-access page. The limit is the initial allocation, and final approval remains subject to SBI Card’s eligibility and underwriting policies.

## Benefits and monthly caps

| Where you spend | Benefit | Limit |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Zomato food orders | 10% instant discount | Shared Eternal discount cap |
| Blinkit beauty and electronics | 10% instant discount | Shared Eternal discount cap |
| Blinkit groceries and other eligible categories | 5% instant discount | Shared Eternal discount cap |
| District dining, events, movies, shopping and play | 10% instant discount | Shared Eternal discount cap |
| Bistro orders | 10% instant discount | Shared Eternal discount cap |
| Uber, Urban Company, ixigo and Apollo 24\|7 | 5% statement cashback | ₹1,000 per month combined |
| Other eligible purchases | 1% statement cashback | ₹500 per month |
| District movie tickets | One buy-one-get-one voucher each month | Up to ₹200 per month |

The instant discounts across Eternal brands share a ₹2,000 monthly cap. You do not get a separate allowance for each app. The partner cashback and other-spend cashback have their own caps and are credited to the card statement. A complimentary six-month Zomato Gold membership is also listed.

## What the savings could look like

For an illustrative month, ₹5,000 of eligible Zomato orders would save ₹500, while ₹5,000 of eligible Blinkit groceries would save ₹250. That is ₹750 saved on ₹10,000 of purchases, an effective 7.5% discount before the card fee. This assumes the full purchases qualify and the shared monthly cap has not already been used.

The ₹499 fee comes to ₹588.82 with 18% GST. At a 10% discount, about ₹5,888.20 of eligible spending would recover that fee; at 5%, it would take about ₹11,776.40. These are fee-recovery illustrations, assuming no other card benefit or competing discount.

Eternal advertises savings of up to ₹3,500 a month, or ₹42,000 a year. That adds the three discount and cashback caps; it is not a flat cashback rate on everything. For perspective, exhausting those buckets using 10% Eternal purchases, 5% partner purchases and 1% other eligible purchases would require ₹90,000 of monthly spending across those separate buckets. There is little reason to chase the headline maximum.

## Fees, eligibility and exclusions

The joining and renewal fees are each ₹499 + GST. The renewal fee is waived when annual spending exceeds ₹2 lakh. The card is offered on RuPay and Mastercard; existing SBI Card customers can also apply, subject to the issuer’s policies.

Eternal lists salaried applicants aged 21–60 and self-employed applicants aged 25–65, with a permanent Indian address, a serviceable PIN code and a good credit profile. These are eligibility guidelines, not an approval promise.

Excluded spending includes fuel, rent, government and utility payments, education, insurance, jewellery, gaming, cash advances, wallet and prepaid loads, gift cards and vouchers, EMI transactions, Flexipay, and card dues or fees. Baby food and feeding essentials, plus tobacco and Paan Corner products, are excluded too. The exclusions also apply within Eternal apps, so a Blinkit basket may not qualify in full.

The public FAQ does not spell out the monthly reset convention, detailed treatment of mixed eligible and excluded baskets, or the qualifying-spend exclusions for the renewal waiver. Check the full terms shown with your invitation before applying.

For regular Zomato and Blinkit users, the low fee makes requesting access worth considering. Compare the savings on purchases you already make with your current card before shifting spending.
